Basil the Bold caters California Thai food to offices, private events, and weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dreamed up by PanPan Thiravechyan in 2020 after leaving her cushy tech job, Basil the Bold combines uncompromisingly bold flavors from her childhood with borderless culinary inspirations from her past decade in the US.
From the "larb" fried tofu and chicken with a mini cult following to one-of-a-kind red curry over Taiwanese noodles to her latest award-winning pork belly, her food does not fit into any category. But PanPan believes that good food is its own category. If her creations make you smile, then mission accomplished!
